Qualian is made by one person, so replies usually take a day or two. If you are reporting a bug, mentioning your device, your iOS version and what you were doing just before it happened will save us both a round trip.

Frequently asked

What do I need to run Qualian?

An iPhone or iPad running iOS 26.1 or later. Sync across your devices needs you to be signed in to iCloud, but the app works perfectly well offline and without it.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no sign up, no email and no password anywhere in Qualian. You open the app and start logging. Sync, when you want it, runs on your own iCloud account, which you already have.

Is this a subscription?

No, and it never will be. Qualian Full is a single one time purchase that unlocks the app for good, including future updates. It is also enabled for Family Sharing, so one purchase covers your family group.

Why only six habits?

Because six is the shape of the flower, not a price. The radial menu has six petals, and the app is designed around being able to see all of your habits in one gesture. There is no tier above six, and no amount of money unlocks a seventh. If you need to track twenty things, Qualian is honestly the wrong app for you.

Is my history limited on the free tier?

No. The free tier gives you one habit with everything attached to it: your full history forever, insights, bloom, charts, all widgets, iCloud sync and CSV import and export. We deliberately do not put your own past behind a paywall.

My habits aren't syncing between devices

Check, in this order: both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account; iCloud Drive is on in Settings → your name → iCloud; Qualian is enabled in that same iCloud list; and the device has a network connection. Sync happens in the background and can take a minute. If a device was offline for a while, changes are queued on disk and go out when it reconnects, so nothing is lost in the meantime.

How do I share a habit with someone?

Sharing requires Qualian Full. Open the habit, start a share, and send the invitation link however you like. The other person needs Qualian and an iCloud account to accept. You each keep your own entries, and the group report shows everyone's activity, streaks and average feeling side by side.

What happens if I leave a shared habit?

You stop sending and receiving updates for it. The entries you logged yourself stay yours and remain in your own history. The other participants keep theirs. Nobody loses data by walking away.

Can other people see my other habits?

No. Sharing is per habit and opt in. Participants in a shared habit see only the entries for that one habit. Everything else, including your notes and ratings on other habits, stays invisible to them.

How do I get my data out?

Export to CSV from within the app. It is available on the free tier too, because your entries are yours. Qualian Full additionally prints or exports a year as a PDF heat map.

I bought Full but it shows as locked

Use "Restore Purchases" in the app, and make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with. If it was bought by someone else in your family group, check that Family Sharing is turned on for purchases. If it still will not unlock, email us with the date of purchase and we will sort it out.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, and we have no ability to issue them. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account and pick the purchase. That said, if something in the app is broken, tell us first and we will try to fix it.

Which languages does Qualian speak?

English, French, Romanian and Greek. The app follows your device language and you can also set it manually inside the app.

How do I delete everything?

Deleting the app removes the local copy. The iCloud copy is separate and is deleted in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Qualian → Delete Data. Both steps are described in the privacy policy.

Feature requests and bugs

Both are welcome at support@simplegames.ca. Qualian is deliberately small, so not every request can land, but knowing what people keep running into is how the next version gets decided. A clear description of what you expected and what happened instead is worth more than a screenshot alone, though a screenshot never hurts.

Privacy questions

Short answer: we hold nothing about you, so there is nothing to request, correct or delete on our side. The long answer, including how iCloud and shared habits work, is in the privacy policy.
